An independent Classical Cat DH Lab edition, version 0.1.0-beta.1. English Wiktionary Latin and Ancient Greek content, captured through Kaikki on 20 September 2026 (declared dump: 2 September; extraction: 16 September), with documented corrections and supplementary page evidence captured through 30 September 2026. This source base is fixed; editorial revisions are published separately.

Definitions, examples and other dictionary text are derived from Wiktionary contributors via Kaikki, under CC BY-SA 4.0 where applicable. Separate quotation credits are retained. Individual entries link to their Wiktionary pages and histories.

Changes include table-context recovery, guarded relation and form repairs, normalization, entry grouping and local navigation. Missing source information and unresolved relations remain visible. This capture is not a complete historical vocabulary or a verified transcription of every Wiktionary channel.

The reader follows the Lab’s WORDS interface. Fonts are self-hosted under their included licenses. No images, recordings or contents of external references are downloaded.

Using the dictionary offline

Choose Save offline and wait for “Ready offline”. Downloads can be cancelled and resumed. The browser may refuse persistent storage or later remove saved data; Verify offline copy checks and restores the package when connected. Saving needs free disk space beyond the download size.

On localhost, keep the local server available until saving completes. After that, reopen the same address in the same browser profile. A file opened directly from disk does not support the worker and offline cache.
